“I started training with chic beauty academy back in July 2017, I started on the level 3 nail technology course and I couldn’t be more happy with how it went. Chic Beauty, along with my tutor, helped me pass the course and gain a qualification that will have a major impact on my future. I finished my course and wanted to further my education so decided to start the level 3 beauty course. Chic beauty went out of their way to get me all of the information needed to get me on my way to further my qualification. I am on to week 4 of the beauty and really enjoying it. “I started my Level 3 Nail Technology course in July last year, from start to finish the course ran smoothly, my tutor went out of her way to help where I need it and support the whole group. “I found my time at Chic beauty a very memorable one, I had given up work approximately 10 years prior to doing the course to care for my husband who had several serious health issues, being a carer for somebody has a huge impact on your confidence, you lose your social skills and you forget how to communicate with the outside world as you once knew it.
I was at a very low place when I joined my first course, I really didn’t want to do it but I was coaxed by my daughter who did the course with me and I was so glad she did. It gave me back my confidence, my communication skills, the knowledge to know that I was still good at something.
I put most of this down to my teacher who saw something in me and didn’t give up on me, in fact she brought the best out in me and made me want to try and succeed because she put so much effort in I didn’t want to let her down or myself, she always went the extra mile, nothing was too much trouble, although she won’t realise it I owe her an awful lot, she was very caring, understanding and helpful.
Chic Beauty for me was an experience I will never forget and has also given me skills I have for life.
