Our academies offer a Level 3 Nail Services course that will enable you to become a qualified nail specialist after completing our course. Our courses are run by fully trained and qualified tutors who are eager and passionate to train up and prepare our students for the real working environment.
When will it run?
Day 1 Induction and health & safety
Day 2 – 7 All practicals to be carried out
Home study completing assignments and case studies. Upon completion of these we usually give 3 months to get these completed, you would attend a further 4 days to complete all your assessments and get your portfolio signed off.
What does the course cover?
- Provide and maintain nail enhancement (Acrylic Nails only)
- Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
- Provide manicure treatments
- Follow health and safety practice in the salon
- Provide pedicure treatments
- Gel Polish application
- Nail Art
- E – File
You will be taught the skills required on your beauty course at Chic Aesthetics & Beauty Academy by our qualified NVQ trainers at one of our training centres. There will be theory lessons as well as practical lessons. You will be producing a portfolio as you go along showcasing photographs, practical assessment, written assignments, oral questions and answers. Home study will be set to help reinforce classroom learning. With the practical lessons students will be working with each other as well as real clients so you can be assessed in a real environment.

After sitting this course you will achieve a Level 3 Nail technology Focus Awards Qualification Certificate.

ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning
The ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning provides a nationally recognised
qualification for those working in the beauty industry, and who wish to develop and
demonstrate their competence at providing dermaplaning treatments.
The aims of this qualification are:
• To develop an understanding of dermaplaning treatments.
• To demonstrate competence at carrying out dermaplaning treatments, in
accordance with health and safety requirements.
• To provide a progression route within the beauty industry, for those interested
in providing dermaplaning treatments.
The awarding body for this qualification is ProQual AB. This qualification has been
approved for delivery in England and Northern Ireland. The regulatory body for this
qualification is Ofqual, and this qualification has been accredited onto the
Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF), and has been published in Ofqual’s
Register of Qualifications.
