TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Appointments & Bookings

• All appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
• A booking deposit of £[Amount] may be required to secure an appointment.
• Deposits will be deducted from the total treatment cost.
• Clients must provide accurate personal information when making a booking.
• We reserve the right to decline or postpone treatment where it would be unsafe, unsuitable or clinically inappropriate.

2. Deposits & Cancellations

• We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Where less than 48 hours' notice is provided, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply, up to the value of the deposit, subject to applicable consumer rights.
• Failure to attend an appointment without notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit, where lawful and proportionate.
• Appointments cancelled by the clinic will be rearranged or refunded as appropriate.
• Nothing in this policy affects statutory cancellation or refund rights.

3. Late Arrivals

• Clients are encouraged to arrive on time for their appointments.
• Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in the appointment being shortened or rescheduled where there is insufficient time to perform the treatment safely.
• Any applicable charges will be explained and must be fair and proportionate.

4. Medical History & Client Responsibility

• All clients must complete a medical consultation form before treatment.
• Clients must disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, previous aesthetic procedures and other information relevant to treatment safety.
• Clients must inform the practitioner of any changes in their health before future appointments.
• Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of complications.
• The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or postpone treatment when medically necessary.

5. Consent & Treatment Risks

• A full consultation and informed consent process will take place before any treatment.
• Clients will be informed of the expected benefits, limitations, possible side effects, material risks and reasonable alternatives.
• Aesthetic treatments may involve bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness, infection, allergic reactions or other complications, including rare but serious adverse events.
• Treatment-specific risks will be explained before the procedure.
• Clients may withdraw consent at any point before treatment. The financial implications of cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
• Signing a consent form does not remove the clinic's responsibility to provide appropriate care.

6. Treatment Results & Expectations

• Individual results vary depending on skin type, anatomy, lifestyle, medical history and response to treatment.
• Results cannot be guaranteed.
• Some treatments require several sessions or maintenance appointments to achieve or maintain the desired outcome.
• Results shown in photographs or promotional materials are examples only and do not guarantee an identical outcome.
• Dissatisfaction with an aesthetic outcome will be assessed individually and does not automatically establish that the treatment was defective.

7. Aftercare & Follow-Up

• Clients will receive appropriate aftercare instructions following treatment.
• It is important that clients follow the guidance provided to support healing and minimise complications.
• Clients should contact the clinic promptly if they experience unexpected side effects or have concerns about their treatment.
• Urgent or severe symptoms require immediate medical attention.
• Follow-up appointments may be recommended to assess treatment outcomes.
• Additional or corrective treatments may incur a charge, which will be explained in advance, unless the clinic is legally responsible for providing a remedy.

8. Refunds & Complaints

• Refund requests will be considered individually in line with applicable consumer law.
• Once treatment has been provided, a change of mind or dissatisfaction with a result does not automatically entitle a client to a refund.
• Where a service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill, clients retain their statutory rights to appropriate remedies.
• Any concern regarding treatment should be raised with the clinic as soon as possible so it can be assessed and investigated.
• We aim to address complaints professionally, fairly and confidentially.

9. Age Restrictions

• Clients must be aged 18 or over for cosmetic botulinum toxin injections and injectable dermal filler treatments, except where a specific lawful medical exception applies.
• Valid photographic identification may be requested.
• Other treatments will be subject to applicable legal requirements, clinical suitability and clinic age policies.

10. Treatment Packages & Courses

• Treatment packages must be paid for according to the payment terms agreed at purchase.
• Unused sessions and requests for cancellation or refunds will be assessed fairly, taking into account services already received and statutory rights.
• Packages are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by the clinic.

11. Photography & Confidentiality

• Clinical photographs may be recommended or required for assessment, treatment planning and medical recordkeeping where appropriate.
• Clinical photographs and records will be handled securely in accordance with applicable data protection law.
• Photographs will not be used for marketing, social media or promotional purposes without separate, freely given permission.
• Clients may decline marketing photography without affecting their access to treatment.

12. Hygiene & Safety

• The clinic follows appropriate infection prevention, hygiene and treatment safety procedures.
• Clients must not attend appointments where an infectious illness, active infection or other condition makes treatment unsafe.
• The clinic may postpone treatment when necessary to protect client and practitioner safety.
• Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other clients. Abusive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.

13. Prices & Payments

• Treatment prices will be confirmed before treatment.
• Full payment is normally required on the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.
• Any additional treatments or charges will be discussed and agreed before proceeding.
• The clinic may change advertised prices, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at their agreed price unless the client agrees otherwise.

14. Liability

• The clinic will take reasonable care and skill when providing treatments and will comply with applicable professional and legal obligations.
• Clients acknowledge that aesthetic procedures carry inherent risks, which will be discussed during the consultation.
• The clinic does not exclude or restrict liability for negligence causing death or personal injury, fraud or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
• Nothing in these terms limits clients' statutory consumer rights.

15. Changes to Appointments or Services

• The clinic may reschedule or cancel appointments due to practitioner illness, emergencies, equipment failure or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
• Where the clinic cannot provide a booked service, clients will be offered appropriate alternatives or a refund in accordance with their legal rights.
• We will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
